The concept of Pro Vest was developed by Pro Vejle, the organisation which it replaces.

We work under the Danish Action Plan to combat trafficking.

Our purpose is to help improve the quality of health and possibilities of women, men, and children in prostitution, including those who have been trafficked for prostitution or forced labour and organ donation.

We work under a contract with the Center mod Menneskehandel (Centre against Trafficking).

Pro Vest is an independent organisation headed by a committee
